Yeasayer - Madder Red and MGMT - Congratulations

Guess what happened while you were out? Disgusting fleshy alien pets became all the rage for indie psych groups. Where they obtained these abominations I'm not sure, perhaps they hallucinated them into existence? Whatever the case may be they are clearly not meant for this world. If they are not slowly losing their limbs all over the place, they are bleeding out from their orifices. Both videos try to make us grow feelings for the poor critters and their owners, but would you feel all weepy if Kristen Bell had a bleeding white rhino as her pet instead? Probably not, cuz they're fucking endangered and keeping them as pets (and neglecting their health concerns until they are three minutes away from dying) is fucking evil. I would hazard to guess that MGMT's fleshy four legged thing and Bell's one eyed tumor would put the word "rare" to shame. Enjoy.
